Hope Park is equipped with a splash area open in summer, which is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day in North Carolina while playing on the playground. We have often found ducks swimming near the shore of the lake, which feel very comfortable with people and get quite close to the little ones, which makes them great entertainment, especially if you have some leftover breadcrumbs from the picnic you could have made next to the lake.
Lake Norman
is currently accepting applications for general utility workers and an office assistant from the visitor center.
